DRY STACK WALL STONE
Dry stack is a building method using stones without any mortar to bind them together. A well-constructed dry stone wall is made stable and artistic by the careful selection and placement of interlocking stones. Our Dry Stack varieties generally come in rough square and rectangle shapes, making for ease of stacking. These stones are generally 4″ to 10″ inches thick with flat tops and bottoms. The weight averages 100 pounds per square foot, translating to about 20 square feet of coverage per ton of stone.
STAIR TREADS / WALL CAPS
We maintain a large stock of Bluestone treads, in lengths of 4 to 7 feet and in widths ranging from 6″ to 24″. Our shop fabricates stone to customers’ specifications and templates. Unique varieties of Limestone, Sandstone and Slate are also available and can be seen at Stone Universe’s website.

River rock it is often used to give a more natural look to ponds, dry creek beds, and decorative stone gardens. They make for nice edging of pathways and garden beds.
